Steigerwaldt’s Regional Operations Director Annie Maina was recently featured in a two-part television series highlighting the benefits of active forest management. The series was produced by the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), in partnership with the Minnesota SFI Implementation Committee, the Wisconsin SFI Implementation Committee, and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
Annie’s episode focuses on the role that Best Management Practices and forest certification play in promoting responsible forest management. It also addresses how consumers can ensure their purchases of forest products are supporting healthy, well-managed forests that provide quality wildlife habitat, outdoor recreational opportunities and strong local communities.
