Which projects that you have worked on have been the most enjoyable?
I greatly enjoyed our work with Irish Distillers and Central Kentucky Forest Management, creating an interactive map to help them find and tell the story of sustainably-managed white oak for bourbon barrels.
What are your biggest accomplishments at Steigerwaldt?
My biggest accomplishment while at Steigerwaldt has been that our Geospatial Solutions team has successfully demonstrated proof of concept work to several clients over the past year. These demos allowed us to showcase our capabilities and the potential of spatial visualizations for their business.
What is your favorite Steigerwaldt value and why?
Stewardship. I’m glad to be part of private company that balances the practicalities of our business and that of our clients’ with caring for the land.
How do you see this value in action at work?
In every project, we use our expertise to help clients make good, environmentally-sound decisions. Plus, pretty much all my colleagues at Steigerwaldt share a love for the outdoors and practice stewardship through their own properties and passions.
