In 1957, Ed Steigerwaldt Sr. established a forestry, land appraisal, and real estate consulting business with a goal of offering superior land management services.
Today, the company is directed by President and Chief Executive Officer Lee Ann Steigerwaldt, in consultation with company chairman, Edward F. Steigerwaldt, Jr. This transition of leadership from father to daughter makes Steigerwaldt a third-generation, family-owned company. With Lee’s ascension to CEO, Steigerwaldt is now a women-led company.
