What do you specialize in?
My specialty is real estate acquisition and navigating the real estate process for infrastructure and development projects. I handle real estate needs on behalf of clients and help clear the path so projects can move forward.
What does a day in your role look like?
No two days are the same. Some days I’m on the road meeting with landowners and visiting project sites; other days I’m looking at everything from appraisals and zoning to title documents, as needed, to understand a property and address site-specific considerations. A big part of my role is problem solving, being proactive, and collaborating with a variety of teams.
What initially drew you to your field?
I’ve always had a passion for real estate and was drawn to an industry that naturally exposes you to a wide range of projects, while also valuing creative problem solving and the ability to work well with people.
What energizes you and keeps your passion going?
What keeps me going is that the work is a constant learning process. Every project and every property is unique, and there’s a real sense of accomplishment in seeing a project completed and knowing I played a role in acquiring the real estate behind it.
What is your favorite part of your role or favorite thing about working at Steigerwaldt?
My favorite part about working at Steigerwaldt is the strong, supportive culture that prioritizes employee growth. I appreciate being encouraged to develop my strengths, explore my interests, and gain exposure to a wide range of opportunities.
