What do you specialize in?
I specialize in planning, overseeing, and analyzing forest inventory projects, along with supporting the field crews that execute on projects.
What does a day in your role look like?
A day in my role includes designing and planning for upcoming projects, interpreting data collected by foresters while ensuring data quality, coordinating field crews, operations and project schedules, and facilitating client communications.
What initially drew you to your field?
My upbringing really instilled a strong appreciation for the outdoors. I wanted a career that allowed me to contribute and make a difference for landowners and the environment in a hands-on way.
What energizes you and keeps your passion going?
Every day presents its own unique challenges and rewards. I also love bringing new foresters on and helping them put their passions into practice.
What is your favorite part of your role or favorite thing about working at Steigerwaldt?
My favorite part about working at Steigerwaldt is the people. There is nothing like getting to surround yourself with like-minded people who share the same passion. Collaborating and problem-solving with my team motivates me to continue to grow in my role.
