Services

Conservation Planning

All landowners have different goals and objectives for their properties.  If you have an interest in improving the water, soil, plant, or animal resources on your property, our environmental consulting team can assist you through the planning and implementation processes.

Vegetation Surveys & Management

The vegetation you find growing on a piece of land can tell you a lot.  Just by identifying the vegetation we can usually tell what type of soil you have, what types of creatures most likely inhabit the area, if any significant disturbance has taken place in the past, and what other types of plants may be best suited to grow in the future.  Practicing good stewardship starts with knowing your vegetation and what you have to work with.

Forest & Pest Disease Identification & Response

Since most of our environmental consulting specialists also have a background in forestry, we have become specialists when it comes to identifying some of the major tree health concerns in the Lakes States.  By quickly identifying tree health concerns we can isolate the problem through environmental treatment or mitigation measures and keep the remainder of your forestland healthy.

Invasive Species Management

Invasive species are becoming more and more common components on our landscape.  These species can spread quickly and take over areas once occupied by native plants.  Our dedicated team can help identify and develop an environmental treatment plan to control invasive species on your property.

Threatened / Endangered Species Survey & Monitoring

Loss of habitat is a major concern for many threatened/endangered species on our landscape.  For large scale forestry, utility, or development projects we can perform the necessary reviews, environmental surveys, and monitoring for any threatened/endangered species that may inhabit the area.  We can also help prepare a plan for how to complete the project while preserving habitat for these species.

Site Prep & Tree Planting

Planting something new on your property is very exciting and can be one of the most rewarding conservation practices you perform.  Whether you are looking to plant trees, wildlife forage, or an array of wildflowers for pollinator habitat, we have the expertise to help you make the right decisions.  Our environmental consulting experts know how to select the right species mix for the soil you have and can prepare the site correctly to make sure your seeds or seedlings get off to a good start.

Wetland Services

Wetlands and waterways are vital components of our landscape.  Our environmental consulting specialists accurately identify and delineate wetlands according to the standards set by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Our wetland delineation team also take care of project permitting with the proper regulatory agencies.
