Jennifer Hegnet has been with Steigerwaldt for 3 1/2 years. She currently holds the title of Appraisal Specialist/Tree Farm Field Manager.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in the appraisal of properties affected by utility easements.
What does a day in your role look like?
A typical day for me entails writing appraisal reports, searching for comparable sales, and data entry, just to name a few things.
What initially drew you to your field?
I was drawn to field because of the data collection and analysis of properties. I’m able to use my organizational and time management skills.
What energizes you and keeps your passion going?
Providing quality reports to our clients keeps me energized.
What is your favorite part of your role or favorite thing about working at Steigerwaldt?
My favorite part of my role is organizing large utility projects and meeting the deadlines that come with those types of projects.
