What do you specialize in?
I specialize in private woodlands management.
What does a day in your role look like?
My day includes working with landowners to develop and implement forest management activities on their holdings.
What initially drew you to your field?
I have always had an interest in all aspects of the outdoors.
What energizes you and keeps your passion going?
The interesting landowners who are engaged and passionate about owning and managing their land and helping landowners meet their goals for their property is what keeps me energized.
What is your favorite part of your role or favorite thing about working at Steigerwaldt?
My favorite part about my role is meeting with landowners to discuss management options and techniques. I also enjoy working with the younger staff in the Forest Operations Division and helping them grow into their roles.
What are three attributes that describe your team?
I think my team can best be described as committed, hard-working, and knowledgeable.
