Leland Swift has been with Steigerwaldt for a year and a half! He currently holds the title of Division Coordinator for the Analytics, Technology, and Valuation division.
What are three skills or attributes that describe you?
Considerate, Curious, Persistent
Which projects that you have worked on have been the most enjoyable?
I struggle to pick one project, but I love the variety of projects I get to work on. From appraisal support work and analytics in the office, to learning timber cruising and helping on tree farm for the harvest season – no two days look alike.
What are your biggest accomplishments at Steigerwaldt?
Working on carbon projects including working with small landowners, helping with several larger project inventories, and helping transfer a carbon project for a client on a tight deadline have been my biggest accomplishments at Steigerwaldt.
What is your favorite Steigerwaldt value and why?
Respect. Respect informs everything we do including how we interact with the natural resources we steward, our colleagues, and clients.
How do you see this value in action at work?
Our relationships internally and with clients are strong because they are built on a foundation of mutual respect for one another and the environment. I am constantly impressed by how well our team handles difficult situations while always maintaining a high degree of calm and respectfulness.
