Which projects that you have worked on have been the most enjoyable?
Harvest seasons are the most rewarding to me. Seeing all of the hard work we put into our Christmas trees is satisfying come the Holidays.
What are your biggest accomplishments at Steigerwaldt?
Some of my biggest accomplishments at Steigerwaldt are managing our Tree Farm field crew, helping lead planting, shearing, and harvest seasons, and being able to help other departments with projects.
What is your favorite Steigerwaldt value and why?
Flexibility. Flexibility is important because having a wide range of skills and abilities helps the company run smoother as a whole. Being available and willing to aid other departments shakes up the daily routine and provides individual growth opportunities.
How do you see this value in action at work?
Being able to pivot directions and change entire plans at a moment’s notice makes the difference for a job well done.
