What’s in Rich’s Cruise Vest?

Sometimes, to speed up the forest inventory process, foresters may use a tally counter.

A tally counter, or clicker, can be used in a variety of settings and uses but is typically used to aid in the counting of trees that have the same characteristics (species, diameter, height, etc.).

Our foresters have recently used clickers to count marked trees for harvest and to count recently planted seedlings to determine if the appropriate density has been achieved.
