SLS is proud to announce that Ed Steigerwaldt was honored with the Distinguished Forester award from the Association of Consulting Foresters of America at the ACF annual meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Given to foresters who exemplify outstanding contributions to forestry and to ACF, the Distinguished Forester award encompasses a forester’s contributions to the application of forestry on private lands, to the advancement of the profession, to private ownership of forestlands, and to the national organization. Foresters considered for this award are nominated and voted on by their peers in the ACF membership.
ACF, the only national association for consulting foresters, was founded in 1948 to advance the professionalism, ethics, and interests of professional foresters. ACF has more than 650 members in 40 states, as well as several international members.
